In its penultimate week of term, Wallingford School held a ‘Virtual Sports Day’ for the first time in history. Although it wasn’t the real thing, students and staff were phenomenal, recording themselves engaged in the various set challenges:

  • Press Ups in 60 seconds
  • Handstand Hold
  • Plank
  • 500 m Run
  • 5 km Run
  • Cycle for Distance
  • Aesthetic Display
  • Keepy Uppies

There were over 250 entries, and the nature of the competition meant it allowed a wider range of students to compete. Ultimately Blackstone House, with Mr Choi leading the team, retained the Sports Day trophy.
